Lu (Victoria) Li

Lu (Victoria) Li was born and raised in Guangdong, South-East China. After finishing her undergraduate with B.S. Degree in Economic and B.A. Degree gained in English at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), she came to the United States for the Master of Science in Finance Program at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). During her study in US, she chose her concentration in corporate finance and quantitative finance and was in the top 5% for her academic achievements. Through these learning process, she strengthened her critical and analytical skills for the Investment Management and found that she really enjoyed the financial problem-solving process. To gain more experience, she participated in stock valuation clubs in school and worked for an investment banking firm on Wall Street as investment banking analyst in summer 2017. The experience of being one of the Wall Street survivors dealing with M&A advisory cases and equity research helped Victoria build up overall ideas of the financial industry.

Starting from 2018, Victoria worked as one of the RCM Chinese team members in charge of the translation and updates of our official WeChat accounts in China. She is also a full-time account manager working for a State-Owned Insurance company being responsible for the project biding and tendering. With such comprehensive experience, Victoria exposed herself to the different business culture and gained insights in both U.S. and China’s financial market.
