Cockroach Investing – the infographic

What does diversification really look like? See the Infographic

One of the main concepts outlined in the strategy discussion was the Cockroach’s goal of ensembles of ensembles, rings within rings and layers upon layers as young Ender said in his ‘final test’ (for all you sci-fi fans). But what does that look like, in practice. We get that Cockroach has 5 main return drivers – Stocks, Bonds, Trend, Volatility, and Gold. But in talks with Jason Buck he expands that inside each of those buckets is yet another level of diversification. And inside those diversifiers, another level of diversification, and so on, and so forth… until you get more 1000’s of different directional bets.

Well if a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a picture of a thousand return streams worth?  Here’s our go at painting that picture of Cockroach’s layers upon layers.
